Do I have to be present for the Inspection?

We at Absolute Inspection Services know that the purchase of a home will be one of the largest financial decisions our clients make in their lives. With this in mind, we highly encourage our clients to attend to the home inspection. We also know that time is of the essence for our clients, due to work, family, etc.. In these cases, we still do encourage that the client to attend a walk-through of the property after our inspectors have finished their inspection. This will provide us the opportunity to explain our findings and answer any questions, or home maintenance inquiries our clients may have.


How long does it take to get my home inspection report?

Reports are delivered on-site, or same day. Should we need any more time, we will provide you with a window of expectation.


How can we pay for the inspection?

Inspections can be paid on site with your inspector, or online, via your appointment confirmation email.

 


How long does an inspection take to complete?

Most home inspections (varying by the size of the home) generally take about 2 hours to complete.


What if our clients cannot attend the inspection?

Should our clients not be able to attend, we provide a thorough, detailed and easily understandable written report on-site, or same day, that arrives to our clients via email. Should our clients have any questions regarding anything in the written report, our customer service team is more than happy to answer any questions they may have.


As a realtor, do I need to present to allow for access to the property?

This question varies by the State we service. If you are a realtor located in the Idaho area, we posses SupraKey access and do not need you to be present; as so far as all clients (buyers and sellers) are made aware of our inspection arrival time. For this service, we will also need the listing agent to provide us the CBS Code to the lock box.

If you are a realtor located in the California area, you will need to be present for access.
